Nissan SR20 billet engine block
The Blueytech SR20 is a billet 6061-T6 aluminium engine block for the rear-drive Nissan SR20, modelled on the S15 block. It keeps the factory outside shape, so the stock parts bolt back on.
What stays stock: the front-cover oil pump, the spin-on oil filter and dipstick, the wet-sump pan, the water pump, and the OEM M11 head bolt pattern. There's no external pump kit, no remote filter, no electric water pump and no head re-drill.
What changes inside: a closed deck with dry land between the bores, so no water sits between the cylinders. The water jackets wrap the valley and the outboard sides. Ductile sleeves. Four-bolt mains on the three centre webs, two-bolt ends, and a one-piece bolt-on ladder. Steel thread inserts in the head and main bolt holes.
Designed in Australia. Register interest and you'll hear first.
Bluey Technology and Design is Beau Ayres, a boilermaker and trained product designer in South Australia. He designs the parts and he knows how they get built. The billet SR20 block is the first product.
